Experienced Carpenter (Full Time) (Overtime Available)

Job Description:
Responsible for creating high-quality work following established standards, norms, and practices in this position. Analysis and interpretation of illustrations, specs and ensuring personalized millwork are fabricated to requirements, formation of specially made millwork including cabinets, laminate casework, worktops, wall panels, claddings, and interior decoration work are among the duties and obligations of a woodworker. You will be required to participate with on-site setups, complete projects within designated timelines, fulfill task deadlines, follow clear instructions in our shop drawings, produce high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail, collaborate as part of a group, and do whatever it takes to fulfill timeframes, industry best practices, and consumer expectations. 
  • Proven experience as carpenter
  • Solid understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and fabrication
  • Excellent mathematical skills and understand complex plans and drawings.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work long hours standing, bending, and stooping.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
  • Study specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required
  • Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power tools
  • Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue
  • Time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required

Installer (Cabinets/ Laminate/ Moldings etc.) (Full-Time) (Overtime Available)

At Hospitality Wood Products, Inc, we take pride in creating beautiful and functional cabinetry. We are seeking an experienced cabinet installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing all types of cabinetry, including custom and pre-fabricated. He or she will be able to read and follow blueprints, as well as take direction from the lead carpenter. The ability to work well with others is essential, as is a commitment to quality workmanship.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of cabinets
  • Measure and mark guidelines on walls to indicate where cabinets will be installed
  • Align and level cabinet bases, using shims where necessary
  • Secure cabinets to wall studs or floor using screws and nails
  • Hang doors and install hardware such as knobs, handles, and hinges
  • Connect cabinets together, using dowels, screws, and plate joiners
  • Fill nail holes and smooth surfaces with wood filler or putty
  • Sand surfaces and trim edges of cabinet doors and face frames
  • Apply primer, paint, stain, or other finishes to cabinets
  • Install countertops, backsplashes, and molding
  • Deliver and install completed cabinets in customer’s homes or businesses
  • Clean up job site after installation is complete

  • Proven experience as a cabinet installer

  • Good physical stamina and strength
